One of the best floating markets in the surrounding of Bangkok! We went on a sunny Sunday to the market and it was not too crowded! You can get a private boat tour for 300baht (1h duration) You will see a lot of shopping places but it is still a good place to go! The small canals are nice to see!

Proudly supported by tourists! This place would be dead if it wasn't for the tourists. Nevertheless it was an awesome experience. Be sure to get a long boat and go for a ride. Many canals and surprisingly many market stalls along the canals. Well worth the visit.

We drove directly to the market food area by car, not stopping at the boats and not taking any boat. We walked around the canal and the shops and had a good view of this part of the floating market. We took a lot of pictures and politely declined the offers locals tried to 'force' upon us. We did not have a bad time, mainly because we read a lot of negative reviews of this place, listened to most advice given in them and thus we did not fall for most traps. You could say the only trap we fell for was going there in the first place :).

Definitely a market for the tourists with the hiked up prices to match. Worthwhile checking out though and bartering on price is easy. Food and souvenirs are good but nothing to separate this market from any other apart from being on the water.

we went by boat into the market, a very nice way of experiencing the market. we jumped off and walked through the different areas that we already passed. be aware of the snakes (no wild ones, but still..) and get a guide, well worth the extra money
