Very nice trip to the zoo. Lots of interesting animals. The water play for kids was fun too. Nice to be able to drive around the zoo and stop at each exhibit to see the animals.
This is a big zoo with lots to see and do! Jump on the shuttle around the park or bring your walking shoes. Ice section was an obscure added bonus! Be sure to check that the attractions you are interested in are open in advance, as some areas are under construction or renovation as at October 2019.
Quite a nice zoo situated on a large hilly plot. It is well maintained and has many educational facilities. Visitor can donate money to than give the animals their zoo assigned food. This is a nice activity that would be good for other zoo s to follow. See photo of giving food to hippo s. They have rare white lions, not alibino s!!
Great outing for kids and adults. Well kept environmental grounds. Active animals with room to move. Well maintained surroundings
The best part of this zoo was visiting the giraffes. The leopards had a tiny enclosure and with a huge amount of space, the zoo should give them a better home. The penguins enclosure is in desperate need of a renovation - poor penguins! It would be nice if they had some fresh air 😌 like in most zoos I've seen they have access to rocks and vegetation with fresh air. There was a lot of rubbish around the park - plastic, bottles and glass. In the trees and forest area which is very sad. Even though they have signs every where saying avoid plastic, and then sell loads of plastic stuff in the cafes! Including bottles water. Not a good example for kids. Seems locals in Chang Mai can't get enough of plastic, sadly and hope that changes. The aquarium was dated but enjoyable still. Anyway I hope also this zoo invests in updating several enclosures as soon as possible! And gives the park a good clean at least once a week. Sent from my iPhone
