BANGKOK, Thailand

Tina:MBK is a place for the person on a budget but wants to do a bit of shopping. Every floor is filled with small stores that aren't name brand. Most things range from about 100THB to 500THB depending on the product.

Tina:Asiatique is possibly one the coolest places to shop, drink, and eat. You can either get there by taxi boat, which is free or you can get there by regular taxi. The one thing I love about this place is that it has a very hipster vibe to it because you can actually see people customize things at their store. There are also plenty of beer gardens and food courts so you can spend a great amount of time there.

Tina:One of the best street markets I have ever been to by far. Whenever I come to Bangkok, I always make it a point to plan my trip around this market because it is only on the weekends. You can get anything from clothes to gemstones and there even is a whole section dedicated to animals and pet items. I suggest you go there in the morning because it will get crazy busy and it is be super hot during the day.

Tina:For those people who like high-end products, this is the place for you. It is definitely pricier than all the other places to shop at. It is very accessible to get to by train and there is a bridge that connects MBK Center to Siam Paragon mall.

Tina:One of my favorite malls in Bangkok because of the concept of it. It is a gigantic mall, but the one thing I love about it is that every floor is based on a different city in the world and every store is based on that theme. This mall is one of those places where you will taking a lot of bathroom selfies.

Tina:This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at in all the times I have been traveling. It is a newly-built hostel in the middle of the city with a huge space and a pool with an outdoor bar. The social scene is really great and the beds are so comfortable and spacious and there is a separation curtain for your privacy.There is also a gym and a chill place to hang with beanbags and PS4 to play on. It is a bit on the pricier side, but it is definitely worth it.

Tina:If you are one of those people who love to party, this is the place for you. Not only do they have a bar at the hostel like the other hostel I mentioned, but they also bring the guests out on pub crawls to the infamous Khao San Road. However, if you are one of those people who like a good night sleep, this is definitely not a place for you

Tina:Another great hostel with comfortable beds and privacy curtains. It is a bit further away from the craziness of the main area of Bangkok, but it is really close to a BTS station so you can get anywhere from here.

Tina:Bar street filled with backpackers and there is not a moment where it is quiet on that street at night and it is such a massive difference during the day then at night.
