Friendly service from Patric, but actually every employee was alert, engaged, and earnest. Our flight into Z was delayed, and a single email to them got a quick reply with the door code and clear instructions. Small room was very clean and functioned admirably. Thanks, all!

Several friends and I came to Helvetia one evening to share dinner and catch each other up on what's been going on in our respective lives. I been here once or twice before, and enjoyed our visit this time every bit as much as the previous ones :-)One of the best food I had in Zurich. It doesn't have a good view but it's elegant enough for you to come for dinner date or business dinner. At least clients are well-dressed.

Good location, easy to walk to the old city. We ended up with a spacious room suitable for less abled people. Downside to this was that we had no shelves and low hooks for towels in the bathroom. Otherwise the room was great. Good hairdryer, comfy bed. FYI, the rooftop bar is not open to guests or public and can only be booked for functions. We picked this hotel because of the rooftop bar so this was disappointing, hence the 4 stars.

I have a lovely stay here. While a bit small, the hallway and doorways were all at accessible widths so the room actually felt a bit bigger. It's centrally located so can easily walk to a whole range of this (hauptbahnhof, nice eateries nearby). The staff were nice and the bed was comfortable. The sound proofing can be improved: I can hear the trams pretty much constantly (my room face the streets) and could hear next door peeing when I was in the bathroom. It could also use a safe in the room/wardrobe.
