Vizcaya Bridge is a unique Hanging Bridge that carries cars and passengers across by a hanging apparatus. It is the only working one of its kind in the world. It was designed by Eiffel and others. It works 24 hours a day. Neat to watch.

A pretty old but innovative bridge. Very rare in its design and it is still functioning. Worth a visit of 1h or so. The crossing costs less than 0.5 Euro

If you go up the bridge to walk it is only to walk across the top of the bridge and back then down the same lift. If you want to cross the river, get tickets to cross on the gondola. You can have an audio guide but there are plenty of plaques along the bridge itself. No running as this can affect the bridge... Very nice views out to sea and Getxo and back towards Bilbao old town.

Ravishing view and made convenient for tourists and the locals as well. We crossed the bridge with around 0.45 or 0.50 euros but nothing that interesting either. If you're visiting this place, a one time visit is recommended just because of the view. Also, it's close to a beach also which acts as a good get away in the summers.

Absolutely one of a Kind, this cable car across the river. A marvel of industrialization Entrepreneurship, speedier than the boat ferry only 200 Yards upriver. Sadly the lift is out of order, no foot passaging atop possible
