Love the history of these villas
The Villa Elisa house is located in front of the promenade of the Belle Epoque villas, a post-war period, in front of the beginning of the Benicassim beach. Villa Elisa is one of many restored houses that show us a window into another era where people with noble titles, artists and celebrities had Benicassim as their summer resort. Many stories of great parties, dances and celebrations.
Villa Elisa is the most spectacular of all the villas on the north promenade of Benicàssim, both the building and its garden are absolutely spectacular. The restoration is very successful and careful, special mention for the backyard, do not miss it when you visit it. It is currently owned by the municipality of Benicàssim and can be visited taking advantage of one of the many exhibitions they hold, or also in one of the events. The garden is full of very special plants and trees, especially the giant ficus that you cannot miss. Do not miss it on your visit to Benicàssim.
Splendid promenade with secular villas. Coquettish, stately, they all keep a little piece of our history. What better than images to evoke a time!
One of the largest villas that can be seen on the promenade of Benicassim, was built in 1942, it was owned by Elisa Carpi, wife of Count Joaquín Bau. Today it is owned by the City Council that uses it as a socio-cultural space, it appears in the film Second Skin with Javier Bardem.
