Plaça de Santa Úrsula, 1, 46003 València, Valencia, Spain
Spectacular historic building that we used as a focal base, from which we usually began and ended our days walking around this great city. It's the entrance to the old town and once through the streets are quite different to those before its walls, but it can be breath taking in parts. Great views from the top of these towers.
Great views from the tower, cheap or free entrance with three Valencia card. When we visited at about 4pm on a Saturday there were very few people there, so excellent to explore almost alone. The tower has lots of steps and is very high, whilst it's safe, at times I felt rather exposed but dont let that put you off, it's worth a visit.
great views and tickets are €2. However there are a lot of steps and some are very narrow. It was fine for me but maybe not great for someone with limited mobility.
One of two entrances of the ancient wall of Valencia. It was used through all Valencia's history, these towers represent the long historical background of this wonderful old city. A must if you're sightseeing in in the city.
Excellent. Things to watch out for - (1) senior citizens pay a half price entrance fee - this isn't publicised - so ask (2) there are approx 220 steps to the top of the tower. Whilst a 'traffic light' system operates when ascending or descending' the stairs, it's inevitable that some 2 way traffic causes congestion and possible health and safety issues. So make sure prospective visitors are fit enough to climb the stairs. At the top of the tower the views of Valencia are breathtaking beautiful.
