A must visit despite its indeed touristy. Amazing architecture and all the stained glasses when the sunlight hits. It is beyond words. So magical
Sagrada Familia (The Sacred Family) is stunning. I cannot wait to see the completed temple! I view the creation of this edifice as an artistic and spiritual undertaking, rather than something dogmatic or religious. Regardless, it is aesthetically pleasing and a fun experience. We rode the elevator to the top and enjoyed the spectacular view. Afterwards we took the spiral staircase back down. I do not recommend the spiral staircase to the faint of heart, handicapped, elderly, or small children. I look forward to my next visit!
If you’re in Barcelona you have to visit. Its like going to London and not seeing Big Ben or going to Paris and not going to the Eiffel Tower. Although some important tips!! Book tickets online in advance and definitely with an audio guide. I went smack dab in the middle of the afternoon which was probably a big mistake because it was hella crowded! I assume early morning and late afternoon would be best. Get your insta pix of the whole structure at the park across the way and at the tail end of the lake where you have a perfect view!
Vey beautiful and unique architectural building. Gaudi is a great architect who has surpassed his time and has reached the future through nature and its uniqueness.
The most fantastic building I have ever seen, even though it’s not finished, can’t wait to see that day.
