Calle Sta. Teresa, 66, 30710 Los Alcázares, Murcia, Spain
Despite the great reviews this place gets I was very disappointed with every aspect of my recent visit. Mushy croquettes that were extremely small in portion size for their price. Main course of lamb chops served with chips was dismal, barely any meat and mostly gristle, and the chips were undercooked frozen ones. My wife's fish dish was served barely warm with what I would describe as garnish claiming to be vegetables. Staff were reasonably good but certainly not friendly and welcoming. For a restaurant that one would expect to be upmarket, and one that charges accordingly, it's a place that I won't revisit and can't recommend.
I will explain why I am rating this 3 stars. Firstly the food is to die for. 5 star food. The service is pretty good for Spanish street food and the waiter who served us was very pleasant. Unfortunately though, when I went for a pee another waiter flushed and came out of the cubicle. He then proceeded to walk past me at the sink washing my hands. I stopped him and told him to wash his. He smirked and let water trickle on his fingers and walked out. Based on that I wouldn't go back.
Just called in for the first time...very impressed straight away, the service from the waiter was excellent. We had the prawn croquettes and other tapas, these have been the best we have had and equal those in Murcia city. I would highly recommend and we will return to try other dishes.....
I had beautiful sea bass but with a carrot that was literally like a thread and about a teaspoon of mash. It tasted lovely but a teaspoonful? What are they thinking!! They obviously only had one potato to feed everyone for the whole evening.
Lovely food, delicious! Reasonable prices and can't complain with the quality
