We did 2 walking tours, one with Enrique (general) and Sebastian (Spanish Inquisition). Both tours guide were good. Enrique with his enthusiasm, knowledge and engagement of the group. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and friendly also debunking many of the myths around the Spanish Inquisition. Both tours are interesting and would recommend to anyone interested in finding out a bit more about Madrid and Spanish history. Having already done the tours in Barcelona and found the very enjoyable these 2 tours in Madrid has confirmed that this company is our preference when doing walking tours.
Dani's tour did an outstanding job of providing the context for Madrid over the past couple thousand years. The literary history tour with Alex was an interesting overview of some of Madrid's best as well as lesser known writers. Thank you!
Our tour guide Isabel was good and the tour included a lot of history, both past and current. I totally appreciated that Isabel used a microphone and that this tour was entirely in English (the Spanish group had a different tour guide). They keep the tour groups to a very reasonable size, too, about 15 -20.
We had Maria Carmen as our guide and we have just loved. She has a great knowledge of the Spanish History and how the facts are linked between each other and, with a great sense of humor, the whole 2,5-3h past without we notice. The older center of Madrid is amazing. I totally recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed our tour with Miguel, he was terrific! He knows the city so well having grown up in Madrid and was very helpful with suggestions on places to go and where to eat. The tour was great, thanks Miguel!
