Menu wasn't bad at all, but there are rooms to improve the service. Price for a menu was in the high range for Madrid. Place was lovely, worth it.

Cute classic Cafe/Bar look ample ceilings and great ambiance that takes you "out" of Lavapiés.

Everything great except the food and the service. The level of blandness of my calamaries was astonishing.

Ate here because we saw it quite busy and thoguht thatd be a good sign. I later learned most people come for a drink (vermouth mostly), and the food is just soso. We had menu del dia (12€) and everything was a bit salty for us and nothing really to write about. Service was a bit slow, but understandable since it was busy and I only saw 2 waiters. This place has been around for a long time, so it's still worth coming to have a quick bite or drink, but dont come for a proper meal.
