Iceland - dive into it ... or snorkel

María:You know how you see these fantastic bright pictures of tours and when you get there you realize that reality doesn't match. Well be prepared to be blown away because Silfra is truly exceptional. The intense blue color is out of this world. The beautiful green algae growing on the rocks also lends the place a magical vibe. Easily one of the best experiences to be had - and worth every penny. My husband wasn't keen when I suggested we should do this tour. Lucky for him I then planned it as a surprise date and he was thrilled that "I made him" do this tour.

María:This is one of the best diving sites in the world and should not be missed if you have a diving certificate. The visibility at Silfra is nearly endless. The guides are very friendly and helpful, they will make sure that you are comfortable and feel save. Just DIVE it! 💧

María:My favorite pool in Reykjavík - hang out with the locals in the hottub. Great locations, start with a walk in the park near by, then go to the pool and end it off with a classic icelandic treat - the icelandic hot dog. Hot dog stand is located in front of the pool.

María:I love the vibe of this place and it's perfect when you are in a group because you can choose between many different little food stands and still all sit and eat together. It's also indoors so suitable in all weathers.

María:If you are lucky enough to visit the Westfjords of Iceland make sure to eat at Tjöruhúsið in the town of Ísafjörður. In fact you should visit this area just for the food they serve. I think they actually sprinkle every dish with some magic 😍
