Morgan:Rent a kayak or Paddle board. This is something we have not done yet but it's on our list. We think Eastern Lake would be a great spot to launch. The launch is in the Eastern Lake Park which has parking. Or you can launch on the beachside at the corner of Eastern Lake Drive and S Gulf Drive.

Morgan:Take a bike ride along the Tpochee Trail which parallels 30A from Dune Allen to Inlet Beach. It is safe, wide, and relatively flat. Stop at the many beach accesses, shops, beach communities or restaurants along the way.

You can find all kinds of shops, restaurants and they even have a playground for kids in the middle of the shops.

Morgan:Baytowne for everyone. It is located inside Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Couples can relax with dinner and drinks and enjoy live music. Families can enjoy several different restaurants, gigantic playground, adventure zone, carousel, and laser maze. It is a place for adults and kids. Visit their website to check out events.

Morgan:Take a look at local jewelry, pick up a local souvenir or T-Shirt, cupcakes, and local beer and wine. The Seagrove Plaza has a wonderful collection of local shops.

Morgan:Seaside is a short bike or golf cart ride away. It is an iconic coastal town where The Truman Show was filmed. It is full of pastel cottages, airstream food trucks, and shops. We love a meal at Great Southern Cafe (reservations recommended) and stop at Sundog Books.

Morgan:Good eats, good view and good live music at night. We love the fish tacos for lunch and it family friendly vibe for dinner complete with yard games.

Morgan:A little down the road. This is a place we always return to visiting. A must on our list. The menu is simple. Our tried and true favorite is the blackened grouper. We suggest getting there early if you do not want to wait.
