marco:"Marco was wonderful. We were only in the south of France for a day and this was the only thing on the agenda. And I am so happy we booked it! Marco was so friendly, kind, and brought us to some beautiful sights in Monaco and around the coast. I would highly recommend anyone book a day with him! He has such a passion for the sea and when I'm back in the area I will definitely book again myself."

marco:By whatever means you arrive in Villefranche-sur-Mer, a beautiful fishing village on the French Riviera, you are fascinated by the wonderful landscape that appears before our eyes. Villefranche-sur-Mer is 4 km from Nice and 12 km from Monaco, it is practically in the center of the two most famous places on the French Riviera. This is a French commune, located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence region, the Alps, the French Riviera. This fishing village was founded in 1295 at the foot of a series of lush hills and still retains the remains of its ancient history. The narrow streets, stairways and arcades of Villefranche-sur-Mer make this village unique, overlooking an inlet where fishermen are the undisputed protagonists. Furthermore, its port has for centuries enjoyed tranquility of the waters throughout the year, so much so that it has been a popular destination for yachts and sailboats all year round. This village is beautiful both in the morning when flooded by the sun, it takes on the colors, with all the shades of fuchsia, of the bougainvillea, but also in the evening when its small village shines with the romantic light of its lanterns, which adorn the many shops and restaurants. .

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
marco:Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, an outstanding destination The peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat became a leading holiday resort around the end of the 19th century. Its dry and rocky landscape was originally home to just a handful of fishermen's and farmers' cottages clustered around the church and harbour. This hamlet was known as Saint-Jean and was part of the commune of Villefranche-sur-Mer. In 1876, the CompagnieGénérale des Eaux created a 6800m³ artificial lake within leafy parkland. Fed by the river Vésubie, this lake also featured a small island and a waterfall. This water was the reason why the peninsula came to be covered in denser and more diverse vegetation. From then on, Cap Ferrat became a firm favourite with families who would arrive from Nice by horse-drawn carriage to have picnics under the pine and olive trees, or have lunch in one of the many restaurants that sprang up near the harbour.
