I was visiting this place in 1999. There were a lot of historical jewelry. This time most of them gone. They replaced the space with missing items with modern jewelry from Ural mountains and gold nuggets.Especially, I noticed almost all famous big Faberge eggs are gone. I think Putin moved all these treasure in his private collection to his mansions he built over the last 20 years.

The place contains 2 small rooms with jewelry and It's very complicated to get in. You have to come in advance in order to get a ticket on certain time and then again spend much time waiting in a queue for security check. And there' s no possibility to buy tickets online. London Tower it's much more interesting with a bigger variety of different items.
