Private Surf Lesson 5 Lessons Package

This is a Private Lesson, a much more teaching intensive oriented for a faster learning curve!

Located next to praia de Carcavelos e Guincho, we offer excelent conditions for you to learn how to surf.

Our store is just inside Carcavelos train station, 5 mins walking to praia de Carcavelos, where we can find some of the best waves around the Portuguese Capital, Lisbon.

Fundamentals:

A good surf experience should start with a good explanation about what is surfing, all the safety rules, condute with other surfers and all about the equipment. This can be done before or after arriving at the beach.

Arriving at the beach:

After arriving at the beach it’s now time to dress your wetsuit (it can be tricky at the beginning but it will help you the keep warm and cozy) and start all the warming up exercises.
After distributing the surf boards and before going in we are going to teach all the surf technics to paddle, catch a wave and stand-up on a surf board.

There are a lot of things influencing your performance on a surf board, but balance is probably the most important one, since everything bellow your board will be constantly moving in a non uniform way. That’s where our experience of many years surfing will make a difference.
