Dark Mysteries - Terceira Island
Discover the stunning scenery of Portugal’s Azores Islands on a half-day hike around Terceira Island. Guests will take a guided hike along coastal tracks and mountain valley trails, admiring the island’s volcanic landscapes, glittering lakes, and dramatic rock formations along the way.
What to expect?

You'll depart from your accommodation at 9:15 am, heading to Mistérios Negros trail. While we drive to the trail, you will pass near a bull farm. Upon arriving at the trail, you'll be shown an informational board with all the information you'll need regarding your hike.

After that, it's time to start your adventure and enjoy the many natural wonders of the island. During your hike, you'll see endemic vegetation, volcanic dommes, lagoons, craters, and volcanoes. If you like nature and hiking, this is the perfect combination.

The trail is moderate, taking around 2 or 3 hours to complete. Since the path is a full loop, finishing your trip means you'll be right back where you started.
