Benagil Caves Tour Private
This tour leaves from Portimão in the morning when the sea is calm. The boat follows the Rio Arade out to the Atlantic Ocean and all the way to the Benagil Caves, said to be the most beautiful natural caves in the world.
What to expect?

Head southeast, past the lighthouse of Ferragudo, the beach of Caneiros, the Roman Tower and Smugglers’ Cave. Marvel at the rock formations of Algar Seco and Praia Vale de Centianes, and travel along the beaches of Benagil.

Go inside of the most famous caves in Europe by boat. In all, there are over 30 caves, and there are deserted beaches to discover as well.

In the summertime, if the captain says we have safe conditions, you can swim!

Further stops along the coast also include the Fort of Santa Catarina, in Praia da Rocha, next to Arade. This fortification defended the city.
