A special spiritual place. You feel a Loving and peaceful presence around. There are lots to see & experience especially the processions and rosaries at night. Each decade of the rosary was prayed in 5 different languages.

Beautiful, serene and holy. You could feel the faith emanating within. Even if you are not a Catholic I would challenge you not to be moved by the experience.

Whether you are a believer or not - this is a must see highlight of any tour of Portugal. There is an incredible story that forms the basis of all this. Read up on it before you go to get the meaning of the place. There is the main church an open square for a huge number of people and some chapels for quiet meditation and prayer. Toilets are available and are clean and well maintained. Don't miss this.

I liked this place because it is really beautiful and (as christian) it can makes tour faith diferentes, I mean, it changes tour faith. However, it depends of the person and his/her faith or his/her objectives there. The less I liked was that it is really upgraded and there's nothing exactly as it was before, so you can feel or see the shepherds experience as it was.
