We spent a while looking for the place and it’s tucked away pass the busy bits along the river, but what delicious food! This is definitely a great find and we loved it! The portions were generous and we were well fed. The price is very decent and we had ~€95 for 5 adults, drinks and all - much better than other shops around. The owners are friendly and proud of their food, well worth the visit and search!
If you are looking for a rustic place, big portions, good taste and family vibe, go here! Prices are high but consistent with the big portions served. The waiters were all very very nice!
We were recommended this restaurant by a local shop owner. The experience was mediocre at best. Our server seemed indifferent to his job. He wasn’t helpful at all with recommendations and gave no alternatives for my wife who wanted a plate that only came for two people. There were over a half dozen plates that were only for two or more people, but no options for the same food for one person. My wife ordered caldo verde, which tasted very good, but was only slightly warmer than room temperature. Her food was brought out well before my entree. She was finished with her food before mine arrived. With the exception of the lukewarm soup, the food quality was great. Service and ambiance were definitely lacking. I wouldn’t go again.
We don’t know about food because we were not able to seat, the only option staff suggested was to join one of the three couples who were not very happy to share a table with us either, so we left. Very unfortunate experience. If the place positions itself as a restaurant it requires a certain level of service.
This place is amazing! Delicious food, friendly and happy staff. Beautiful!
