Beautiful building, but falls short of other cathedrals in Europe. Given the issues surrounding the Catholic church, they should look at dropping the entrance price or offer guided tours that share better insight to the history of Catholicism. You get more out of the view from the outside than you do from what you see inside.

Very very beautiful cathedral. Definitely worth it to be visit if You are in Porto. Romanesque (dated for the XII century) architecture combined with unique Portuguese influence makes it one of a kind. One of my most favourite places in Porto

Nice view but I did not entered in the cathedral. There are here some people that make some nice vibe by singing something local. And you can also get something to drink, there are some snack bars by the street. It's a nice place to rest before you go to the bridge D. Luis that is closest.

It is one of the city's oldest monuments and one of the most important local Romanesque monuments; literally a piece of great art. Besides of the Cathedral, in the square outside, you have a stunning view of the old city.

When we were there, there was some construction off the main road so you almost think you're at the wrong place. However, keep walking and you'll be greeted by a nice park with a pond full of different species of birds and a nice viewpoint. There's a little shop as well selling snacks and drinks.
