I do not give 5 because I believe this place should not be that much expensive. Beautiful inside decoration. We tried almond tart and cheese cake. Both were good. I recommend the almond tart and also apple tart (I could not taste it unfortunately). Cheese cake had a smooth and fluffy texture and the taste was not too much cheesy which I liked. Also, the staffs were friendly as well.
I love the baroque style decor. It makes this place really a unique. We just had French toasts and coffee for breakfast but it was really good. A bit overpriced as guess since now it is mostly a tourists spot.
The concept of being in the place exceeded the quality of the food. Ordered the Sangria (almost half the patrons there had a glass when I walked in) and it was a lot sweeter than I expected, but I enjoyed it. The French toast and cheese board were above average but nothing phenomenal. Wait staff were amazing though. Would not visit after this experience.
We love this place. Elegant place. The cake was delicious, you got recommended Portwine to taste as well! The staff were friendly. we were lucky , it was a rainy day, and no queue!
I felt more hype there than actual quality delivered. Nice and historical settings, fast and helpful staff, but worn mirrors on the walls, average quality ice cream / coffee and toilets like in a 3 star hotel is far from the service that are expected based on the prices.
