The tour is interesting—you get special access to the various VIP rooms. I would have enjoyed more history about the neighborhood as the focus is on the “prettiness” of the building. To see the main hall from the inside you need to go to a concert (not included in the paid tour). Seeing a show was absolutely amazing. By design, this is one of the 10 best concert halls in the world and its construction delivers. The sound produced is nothing short of heavenly.

Often free live music at the open air bar. Search for the events. I enjoyed my time there very much! A small Beer for 1.80€ or bring your own drinks and sit a few meters away

The tour was okay, the place is very beautiful and has a lot of history behind its construction! Definitely built using natural light as a core focus. I also liked how every room has a clear focus behind it and is very unique between! Would recommend for the view you can get alone although the tour price is a bit much, 10€ pax

Take the tour to fully understand the beauty technology and intensity of this music learning and performance venue. Then walk a few blocks to the market for a fabulous array of food for lunch or dinner

Only do the tour on concert-free days! The tour was full of anecdotes explaining the most eye-catching design decisions and surprising insights into how the building is really used. It's just really worth paying attention to when you visit. Firstly, it's important to go on a day when no concert is scheduled. Even though there was nobody in there setting up or rehearsing, the main auditorium was out-of-bounds for tours due to a gig that night. The tour group could just peek into the auditorium through filthy wavy glass walls from the upper floors. The curtains covering the largest glazed surfaces (and best views into the auditorium) were closed. Secondly, the tour only visits the roof terrace when the restaurant is open, so not on Sundays. The tour group was quite big - almost 30 people. A midweek tour might be better if you want to experience the rooms less crowded. The tour guide was great - knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. Despite not getting to the roof or main hall, the tour overran the hour slightly, but the tour was all the better for it because we never felt rushed. The cafe on the ground floor served great coffee, soups and pastries for a fair price.
