This was a very cool beach area! You go down through a natural stone tunnel into a fairly large enclosed sandy beach. Quite a lot of people, but really nice. Super hot :)

Favourite beach in the area. Fun entrance down a few steps through a tunnel carved out of the cliff. Other interesting carved walkways/rooms in rock, presumably by fisherman in the past. Sheltered by the cliffs, with good spots for cliff jumping at high tide. Soft sand with shallow, clear water for bathing. Small caves to explore. Very clean, trash cans provided. Chilled mix of people relaxing, few children. No commercial facilities, just nature, bliss!

This place is amazing the views before you descend to the beach are breathtaking. Walking down the man made tunnel to get to the beach really adds to the atmosphere of the place. The sea is violent but worth fighting with the waves so much fun. It is total uncovered from the sun so sunbathing is a must. At 3pm the sun dissappears over the cliff if your not a sun lover. Great experience worth the effort

Great beach with good caves used this beach when we couldn't get into benagil next door as it was too busy. There is Free Parking available along a dirt track. Short walk to beach through a cave, beautiful.

This place is sick! Great place for cliff jumping if you're into that. There's a 15m jump to the right at the end of the path carved into the wall. On the right side there's a 20m jump off the top of the fin like rock and some more farther down the cliffs. If you plan on cliff jumping try to do it at high tide, at low tide the water is only about 2-3m deep in these areas (still doable but you will hit the bottom).
