San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines
Waterfalls were out of water - so that day it was just a fall. Anyway there is a nice spring next to it which is worth to go in the summer season. Refresh yourself and get ready for the climb up (stairs) 😂
The place is indeed a paradise. I think even people from its nearby places did not knew yet that this place is so relaxing and enchanting. So if wanted to escape from the city's stressful feels, come visit the place and you will go back home refreshed and recharged!
small tourism fee to pay to enter the zodiac falls, great place to chill-out an hour or so when touring this beautiful island. if your remain on the road leading to the falls and drive 2 more minutes northbound you will end up in some scenic rice-terraces with carabaos (filipino buffalo)
I very much enjoyed walking along this trail and the whole experience. Maybe better if only I was wearing shoes instead of thongs.. But who cares, I went all up, to find out the fall of my star sign. Because the 12 small falls have been matched with the zodiac signs as part of a local project. The big fall at the bottom is beautiful. To dip in is really relaxing. Lots of fun for those brave ones I watched jumping in it. Locals were very cheerful, very funny. Parking fees apply
Worth visiting. We got there by 9 am and we were there alone just with a local guide (cca 14-year-old boy). You can cool down in the pool under the main waterfall, then there is a spring with concrete pools full of its crystal clear water but ot was full of water loving locals. Then we walked up along 12 smaller waterfalls which are named after zodiac signs. Entrance is for free and you can give any amount of money to the guide at the end of the "tour".
