What to expect?

Embark on a unique private five-day journey, where you will travel from the Peruvian coastal desert to the highlands, to reach Huancaya (4000 m.a.s.l), one of the most beautiful districts of the country. Located within the Nor Yauyos-Cochas Landscape Reserve, this place protects one of the most spectacular high Andean landscapes in Peru with numerous waterfalls and emerald lagoons formed by the headwaters of the Cañete River. A perfect place to rest, relax and get in touch with nature.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Lima: Named as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, the Peruvian capital is a sign of history and modernity.

Huancaya: Hydrographic paradise, home to endemic flora and fauna that includes Andean foxes, vicuñas, Andean ducks, herons and trouts.

Vilca: Located in the Nor Yauyos-Cochas Landscape Reserve, characterized by the presence of numerous waterfalls and lagoons.

Pariacaca Mountain: Located in the central Andes, it houses the Pariacaca shrine, considered in ancient times as one of the most important deities of the Tahuantinsuyo.

Andenes of Laraos: Its agricultural use remains active from Inca times until today.

What do I need to bring?

Comfortable and light clothing is recommended for visiting the coastal areas of Peru, while for the high Andean area the use of warm clothing is recommended. It is not recommended that visitors wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or short clothes when visiting religious temples or official buildings. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
