If you take your time it may be a 2 hr trip. Wintertime - dress warm as you'll be walking through galleries in open air. Beautiful museum that comes with an informative and glitch-free 1 sole app audio guide in multiple languages. Available to smart phone users. Enjoyed my time learning about the history of this temple/cathedral.
Interesting exhibit but the issue is that there wasn't much guidance from staff about how to best explore it. We spent some time so we eventually figured out all of the areas. Could be a lot more material catering towards English speaking tourists.
Fascinating and tragic history. We had a self-guided visit and the descriptions provided seemed to be enough for us. Definitely worth a visit, though it won't take very long - around 1-1.5 hours
A fascinating museum with an interesting collection of early colonial artifacts. Some really great art, and the Incan walls were really interesting. It would be better if there were better signage or an audio guide in English or something to explain more of the rich history in this very storied place.
This is a very interesting and picturesque place with plenty of history. There are many guides out the front offering to give tours, but we managed just fine given the English explanations and brochures throughout the museum. The mix of incan and Spanish interiors are so eye opening and striking to look at. It is easy to pass the time here among the interior itself, the art exhibits and the gardens
