The staff is extremely helpful. I had to buy some wine for a dinner party and I had no idea about wines but they helped me choose an affordable and good quality wine.

Vinmonopolet is one of the liquor stores in the city. Always check the time of opening, because Norway has time restriction for alcohol sales. Also, prices are higher compare to other European countries but you still will be able to find some “cheap” alcohol

Arrived in Bergen at 3pm on a Saturday after a cruise. Went to buy some wine and found the only liquor store in the city is closed until Monday. Great service 😟
