Christy:While still chillier than your average tropical paradise, Ramberg beach has relatively warmer-than-expected waters due to the Gulf Stream. Head here in summer to laze on the beach and, if conditions are good, brave a dip in the water!

Christy:A quaint fishing village home to just 329 people, Reine is located on the island of Moskenesoya and is perfect for outdoorsy types. This is the place to come if you're into fishing, hiking, and for catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Christy:The oldest fishing village in The Lofoten Islands, Hamnoy is situated on the east side of Moskenesoya just 2 kilometers from Reine. If you can plan your trip to Hamnoy any time, then come during May when the town celebrates Elijazzen Jazz Festival!

Christy:A must-visit destination for photographers, Fredvang is home to two of the most iconic, and photogenic, bridges in the area. Not to mention, the landscape is dotted with sheep and the harbor is always buzzing with locals and visitors alike! Beware: Once you settle into its easy-going groove, Fredvang will be hard to leave.
