The library at Te Hāpua: Halswell Centre

This is a very good community library, seminar rooms and cafeteria. The library carries a large range of books and the cafeteria makes a good cup of coffee or tea. It is a modern facility and the large seminar rooms have kitchen facilities. Located on the main road through Halswall it is easy to find and has good car parking. I found it particularly helpful for meeting people for a business meeting. Nonetheless a good public library service.

Really modern, friendly and lot of space to chill. The kids area is amazing! For the backpackers: many sockets and water available infront of the library. You can also access the poll if you want to take a shower but you have the pay the access fee.

Great centre with bilingual baby time and excellent facilities. Highly recommend.

Fantastic community facility wrapped around a great pool that is open during summer. The library and staff are brilliant and the council service desk and community bookable rooms excellent. Free wifi and great areas to study a bonus for students or travellers. The onsite Cafe is also great and does excellent coffee last time I tried. This is somewhat biased as a review as I often work there. That said. I totally stand by what I say here.
