That was an interesting experience. Rather than hello I was greeted with "are you actually getting anything?" I was definitely being judged on my appearance and being served accordingly, I couldn't help but think the hair I found in my coffee was deliberate. Won't be back, wouldn't recommend She universe. Customer or not I like to be treated as an equal human, always. Thanks, but no thanks

We had very little time in our itinerary on our last day in Christchurch during our Christmas holiday & were hoping to visit The Tannery & we are glad we did😊 Wonderful boutique shops & then we spotted "She Universe"....sooooo glad we stopped for coffee there...It was the most divine Cappuccino with Cinnamon I had ever had....the Mascarpone Ice cream with dates & orange was oooooh sooooo delicious...which was served with a "chocolate" spoon....the sweet lady at the counter was so bemused when we kept hoping out of our chairs to check out the cakes, etc. on display & who can resist Whiskey Fruit Cake, especially during the holiday season...It was foodgasmic😉 They are awesome & they have an entire wall dedicated to display their Award titles to proclaim that❤

Nice cozy shop with chocolates and ice cream. All ice cream come with a free chocolate spoon in cup, they do not have cones. Governors bay store has nicer view.

We were very disappointed with our visit to She Chocolate at the Tannery today. The icecream sundaes are a special treat and at $11:50 each we normally visit once a month. The image of the icecream sundaes on the She Chocolate website are of a tall parfait type glass with layers of icecream and sauce topped with some chocolate shards which is usually what we receive. However, today we were delivered our treat in a small breakfast type glass which seemed half the size. No shards of chocolate but still the same price! This is a total rip off! Unfortunately this will be our last visit to She.
