Climb to the top, great 360 degrees view of Sumner beach or if the tides right walk through the cave. The beaches here is lovely bring your dog for a walk, and the nearby food places are good, including the ice cream shop across the road.

Been coming here since I was a child and I still love coming back. When I do get the chance to come on down and go for a walk around here, you can bet I'll always stop by here and enjoy the view and reminisce about the old times. It's good and worth checking out.

Free to visit like all parks and beaches in NZ. On the P line bus route to Sumner. Might see some wildlife like Seals lazing on the rocks in ideal weather. Historic landmark on top of Cave Rock also.

Wonder on the beach. We can climb on the top also. Go inside and come out from the other different exit. It's on the beach. Clean place. Can have a fun time with fly and friends. Next to this cave there is a restaurant with hot drinks and beer too. After playing, you can chill with a beer from them or ice cream ..

The rock has a small cave in which you can walk through. Even within the cave you have beautiful views of the ocean which makes for great photo opportunities. You can climb up the rock and admire the view from the top. The sunset is amazing from there and the spot is fun to hang out at. I'd recommend it for a date. Also it can get a bit chilly in winter.
