This is a must see when visiting Amsterdam. Not only for the work of Van Gogh but also learn and see about his life, fascinating! Over 400 paintings, private correspondence with other artists, private letters and so much more. You will need several hours to complete this visit. Don't miss it! Highly recommended

The museum in general is amazing. They only sell tickets online so there's plenty of space to walk around. I was with my headphones with some relaxing music and it was delightful. I made it in 1 hour and I didn't have to rush at all. So, there are 4 floors but it's not quite huge. THE STARRED NIGHT is in NEW YORK, NOT HERE! AND THEY DON'T MENTION IT

Beautiful gallery housing beautiful art. You can hire a small tablet so you can listen to someone talking about VG work. So many wonderful paintings. I needed more time here than I thought. You have to book your tickets in advance. Everyone should visit, it's really worth it 🎨🖌️👨‍🎨

Delightful experience! A must visit for any Van Gogh fan and I think an enjoyable visit even if you aren't. Reasonably sized museum with a nice flow. You'll most likely see some works you've never seen before and maybe see Van Gogh a little differently. Nice cafe, as well, to take a break in.

Book in advance to avoid queues. It was raining with only one ticket machine outside the museum working. The queue was long and took an age. There are also time slots, so we had to pass 2 hours in the area before going in. I wish we'd planned a bit better! As mentioned...best to book prior to your visit.
