Looks not inviting from the outside, but modern (great) service and the food is even better. 4 or 5 stars?? 4, since the furniture needs a little facelift.

Great food, awful service. Seriously it's a shame the service is so bad considering their kitchen is actually really pretty decent. But the service is slow, unprofessional and just honestly kinda rude. I like to go here for the nice terrace but I don't go here when I want to be served timely and nicely. So yeah, kinda draw your own conclusion when you go.

I asked for ham egg and cheese on a croissant (it was all cold) I guess this is the dutch version..just moving from the states I was a surprised ..;) coffee was superb!

It is a nice "grand café" in the center of Rotterdam we had a table outside under the awning and in spite of the rain, it was nice to be outside. I had two croquets with french fries and both were delicious! With it I had a kwak, a Belgian beer in its traditional glass. I can recommend this place!
