Was a bit letdown by this cave. The entrance is very grand and photogenic, but the inside just features wet, bland walls. Not any big stalactites or stalagmites and when I went in July there was a lot of construction materials everywhere. Piles of scaffolding materials distracted from the natural cave environment. The waterfall itself was cool but is pretty far away so photos are a challenge. The lake itself had a lot of plastic and garbage floating in it. For being a holy place this cave could use a lot of TLC. If you are in the area it's worth checking out for 100 NPR, but it's not a destination. Expect to spend 20-40 minutes here to see the whole thing. If you want to see something really beautiful, walk 20 minutes south to the river and you can have a gorgeous experience off the beaten path. There's a suspension bridge, places to swim in the emerald river, and picturesque rice fields. Pretty sure there are some hidden caves here too! A much better use of an afternoon IMO.

Nice little trip in Pokhara. The end of the cave is nice and it’s cool to see a Hindu temple inside of a cave. Well worth the dollar it cost to go inside.

Nice cave and good maintained by the people..But I have seen the problem of light inside the cave. Other wise nice area for visiting it.

An underground cave located in Pokhara. This cave is sacred to Hindus and is a popular tourist attraction. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva as the limestone deposit resemble a Shiva Linga. There is an ornate gate having a Nepalese & Chinese influence. There are small stalls selling religious items. There is a spiral staircase adorned with events from Hindu mythology as well as sculptures. At the entrance of the cave, there is a small shrine containing the Shiva Linga. There is a staircase that leads through narrow passages having dim lights and water dripping from top. It was a bit humid inside. At the end, there is a slit in the rock that shows the bottom half of Davis falls. Photography is not allowed inside the cave, but it can be taken. The entry fee is NPR 100 per person. It is not suitable for senior citizens.

It is a place bearing a huge religious importance among hindus. Its a deep cave which provide thrill to tourists. Some might feel claustrophobic and hard to breathe deep into the cave but for others its a must check destination.
