Subarnapur 44200, Nepal
Lovely place to visit if you are a wild life lover. Also recommended is your stay in Barahi Jungle Lodge. Not only it’s hospitality, food, architecture and ambience are great but also it’s plastic free. Imagine. It’s true.
Nepal's most popular tourist destinations, Chitwan National Park. The park, located in the lowland of the Inner Terai Region, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is the habitat for 50 species of flora and 700 species of wild fauna. Every year it is visited by a large number of domestic and foreign tourists who want to see the natural wildlife and do jungle activities, like jeep safaris, bird watching, canoe riding, learning about Tharu culture, and more. The park has the easiest accessibility among the other national parks in Nepal.
Great place. Has a lot of tourists but administration and local people have still managed to preserve the beauty and natural attractions of the place. Did a canoe ride here. It was an amazing experience. Very calm and soothing. Saw many birds and crocodiles and alligators. Got lucky to see the one horned rhinoceros (the reason this place is famous) crossing the river right in front of us! Didn't do the jeep ride because you get to do it in almost all the conserved areas. Also, pollution (both sound and air) is not good for these areas and the animals in it. One major attraction of this place and probably the only conserved area with it, is the jungle walk which is done here. Would recommend that.
A beautiful experience but please be a RESPONSIBLE Tourist and DONT Do Elephant riding or support it anyhow (going to the breeding center for instance). Some tours companies offer it and Elephants are not treated well.
Nice place. Wide range of natural species. Make u feel u are in and with nature.
