Pokhara 33700, Nepal
It's a actually a small cave compare to Mahendra cave...but it have adventure..thrill..inside it...one should first see the exit point of cave before entering the cave...because exit point is too much narrow...only fit flexible and relatively thin person can exit after good effort and courage... relatively healthy person can not exit easily...in the tickets gate you given a led light for go inside the cave...to as dark inside the cave and to see the bats...those are hanging from the roof of the cave..it's there natural habitat...one should have the physically fit and mentally strong to exit from the exit point...if person not having that...they should return through the entrance.. there is no shame on that...after exit from the exit point you should be very happy...and cheerful..
It's sad that how human beings have explored and exploited this place which is a home to innumerable bats after whom the the cave is named. 'Chamera' means bat 🦇 . It's humid inside and the floors are really slippery as there is water dripping from the top so be careful. Entry tickets cost 50 NPR for locals and 150NPR for foreigners.
This place is at lamachaur. There are so many facilities for tourist. This is good destination to view the local habitat of bat.
It’s a real cave and you will feel it. It’s really dark inside but they provide a flashlight at the ticket counter. The exit is narrow so you will need help to get out. Don’t wear white clothes coz it’s gonna get dirty. Enjoy the experience. A lot of bats !!
One of the most wonderful tourist destinations at the northern part of Pokhara valley.
