Naxos: What to See and Where to Eat

Although Naxos is not one of the most touristic islands in Greece, it is an excellent choice for those looking for a sun-drenched beach vacation. The the weather is fantastic, the food is great, and the lack of nightclubs make it a more relaxed alternative to, for example, Crete or Mykonos.

Nína:The Temple of Apollo is probably the most famous landmark in Naxos. It is easily accessible on foot from the harbour (in Naxos Chora).

Temple of Demeter
Nína:A beautiful temple that (probably) dates back to the 6th century BC. It is located in Sangri, 30 minutes drive from Naxos Chora. An ideal sight to see if you've rented a car.

Naxos Cruise To Antiparos & Caves Or Rina Cave & Small Cyclades
Nína:In Naxos, there are plenty of cruises to choose from, taking you to nearby islands and beaches that are only accessible via boat. I do not recommend to embark on these tours in very windy weather, check the forecast before you book.
