Giraffe Centre
Abigail:I would recommend The Giraffe Center, at the edge of Nairobi National Park, because the center lets visitors come face to face with endangered Rothchild’s giraffes and provides them with activities the visitors can perform there. This non – profit center lies on the grounds of the plush guesthouse, Giraffe Manor, and it’s main mission is to provide conservation education for children. The visitor center displays information about these graceful creatures, and a raised platform allows you to feed them at eye level with specifically prepared pellets. Moreover, I would recommend this center for young people and children to inform them of important information about these graceful creatures while they have a little bit of fun by feeding the giraffes.

The Maasai Market
Abigail:The Maasai Market is an open-air market where you can find paintings, drawings, jewelries, clothes and fabrics, in addition to these wonderful items you will be able to find sisal bags, wood-carvings, beaded necklaces, batik wall hangings, shoes, soap stone carvings, textiles, and many other exciting products handmade by local artisans. Visitors will be able to observe a selection of arts and crafts, wooden carvings and souvenirs, whatever do you cannot go wrong at the Nairobi Maasai Markets. I myself would recommend The Maasai Market for people who love clothing, jewellery, accessories, artifacts, carvings, hangings and many more items that you will be able to take in and the best part is the whole adventure will be a great experience for you, your family or your friends.

Nairobi National Park
Abigail:Kenya's first national park, Nairobi National Park lies only seven kilometers from the skyscrapers of Nairobi's city center. A haven for wildlife, the park is also a rhino sanctuary, which protects more than 50 of these critically endangered creatures. In addition to the rhinos, you can see lions, gazelles, buffaloes, warthogs, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and ostriches, and more than 400 species of birds have been recorded in the wetlands. In my opinion I believe the Nairobi National Park is the best choice for animal lovers young people because there are many animals to visit and fall in love with. The children and youngsters will have the opportunity to get some quality time outside surrounded by natures finest creatures.

Nairobi National Museum
Abigail:The Museum aims to interpret Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage both for education and leisure. In addition to the museum, visitors are treated to a variety of shopping and dining facilities, as well as botanical gardens that offer a serene environment. The museum is open on all 356 days throughout the year from 0830hrs -17300hrs.Nairobi National Museum is located at the Museum Hill, approximately 10 minutes drive from the Nairobi city centre accessible both by public and private means. Built in 1929, this is the flagship museum for the National Museums of Kenya, housing celebrated collections of Kenya’s History, Nature, Culture and Contemporary Art. This is a perfect place to learn about Kenya’s History, Nature, Culture and Contemporary Art. If you are a person that loves learning new things about different countries and their cultures. Nairobi National Museum is also an amazing option for parents who want to show and teach their kids about a completely new culture than what they know and lived through.

Early Morning Group Joining Game Drive In Nairobi National Park
Abigail:Spot free-roaming wildlife at the edge of Nairobi on a Nairobi National Park game drive in an open-top safari vehicle. An early-morning departure means cooler temperatures and the chance to see the animals when they are most active, prowling grassy plains and acacia bush with the dramatic backdrop of city skyscrapers. I assume that this activity will be a great experience for anyone! Person or age won’t matter when you are carrying out this amazingly enjoyable activity. The timing is perfect for early birds who love and adore animals and breathtaking city skyscrapers.

Private Hiking Day Trip To Mt. Longonot From Nairobi
Abigail:Hike your way up Mt. Longonot on a private day trip from Nairobi and admire the national park’s volcanic terrain of bubbling geysers and soaring rift valley cliffs. After your climb to the crater’s rim, you will relax with a lakeside lunch, then hop on a boat for a cruise around Lake Naivasha, looking for hippos and eagles as you go. The full climb and descent takes up to four hours, and a good general standard of fitness is needed. I would recommend this activity for adults and not children because this activity is too dangerous and tiring to bring your child along while climbing a massive mountain for hours but when you are a visitor that is of age, I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Day Tour To Amboseli National Park
Abigail:Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. This is a great experience for anyone who loves to take on a long but rewarding challenge. I will admit that it is time consuming and tiring but if you are a person that loves climbing or hiking and oddly have lots of energy in your system, you might have just discovered the absolute ideal venture for you.

Features Africa Journeys
Abigail:Kenya has an outstanding variety of natural habitats, from tropical forests and shimmering deserts to dazzling beaches and endless savannas teeming with wildlife. Kenya hosts a spectacular biodiversity that is a great draw for the African safari seeker. With numerous game reserves and private game conservancies where you can easily get to spot the big Five animals while on a Kenyan safari. The Big Five include the following animals, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant. The splendid Kenya tropical coast line is another attraction where you can spend your Beach Holiday on the white pristine beaches after your safari holiday. On the Kenya coast, you can enjoy the vibrant Swahili culture and explore the underwater life of the clear azure Indian Ocean. With a varied altitude featuring the snowy peaks of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare ranges, open plains of the Masai Mara, Tsavo scrubland to the forested valleys and the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Kenya is the original home of safari. A safari in Kenya is inspired by the liberating sense associated with the endless plains and the assortment of wonderful wildlife that walk and breath in this untrammeled and ancient of landscapes. I would recommend this journey for anyone outdoorsy and someone who loves nature so if you are that person I am hoping to see you here as soon as possible!
