Abigail:Hike your way up Mt. Longonot on a private day trip from Nairobi and admire the national park’s volcanic terrain of bubbling geysers and soaring rift valley cliffs. After your climb to the crater’s rim, you will relax with a lakeside lunch, then hop on a boat for a cruise around Lake Naivasha, looking for hippos and eagles as you go. The full climb and descent takes up to four hours, and a good general standard of fitness is needed. I would recommend this activity for adults and not children because this activity is too dangerous and tiring to bring your child along while climbing a massive mountain for hours but when you are a visitor that is of age, I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Abigail:Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. This is a great experience for anyone who loves to take on a long but rewarding challenge. I will admit that it is time consuming and tiring but if you are a person that loves climbing or hiking and oddly have lots of energy in your system, you might have just discovered the absolute ideal venture for you.
