Best Pagoda in Yangon. 10000 entry fee. It is best to come here when it's close to sunset time so you can see it in both daylight and at night. It's lit up beautifully at night. There are locals walking around offering tours if you'd like some information while walking around. The walk up the main gate is also great so either walk in or out that way

Really big then anticipated, beautiful with devoted people in there culture and religion. Foreigner have also a good number of foot fall. During day time it becomes very hot so take umbrella and skin lotion. You need to remove any footwear. For the ladies dressing need to be very conservative.

I like this place very much. All-time I arrived here, I go really peaceful and tranquility mind on me. Normally take a break seating north east corner of pagoda beside of big bell. That bell is very ancient with high quality handicraft.

What a stunning place it was! It is not only for religion(Buddhism) but also for social hub. Whenever i visit there, I truly feel that pagoda is really something special. Some are taking meditation while some are offering something. I noticed families are also bringing their children as a picnic spot. Often you can see the monks are praying or taking meditation. Evening time is perfect to see the sunset and enjoy the precious moments out there. Highly recommended and never miss the best of Yangon!

Out BN if the world Pagoda. You need at least a full day if not couple of more days to really see, understand the history, and enjoy this marvellous Pagoda. Every step you have a story to hear. The jade Buddha is another remarkable piece of craftsmanship. We were lucky to have taken to the VIP enclave and got to see the finer details of the Pagoda. A must see place if you visit Yangon.
