Crete - where to go

Crete, Greece's largest island, is known for its varied terrain, which ranges from fine-sand beaches at Elafonisi to the White Mountains. I have been there twice with my family.

Thora Katrin:Most beautiful beach in Europe...looks like the Caribbean. Can be busy over the high season and gets windy at times.

Rhodes - where to go

Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its beach resorts, ancient ruins and remnants of its occupation by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. The city of Rhodes has an Old Town featuring the medieval Street of the Knights.
