Two ways of reviewing the Medina, Souk and the Big Square. 1. Vibrant, Colourful, Attacks The Senses and Exotic. 2. Carbon monoxide fumes fill the Souks due to it being a route around the Medina for Scooters, Mopeds, Motorcycles and early in the day cars. It is chocking. Everyone seems to want to get your money by fair or foul, once you have hassled a price and paid, check your change they do try it on. The Big Square is full of Monkeys on chains some in Nappies, sun glasses and clothing, just ghastly. Snake Charmers all think you want to get one wrapped around your neck and Henna Tattoo women constantly bother you and want big money if you decide to get one. Hassle is constant and after a few days draining, kids aged around 8/10 constantly want you to buy Pocket Tissues and follow you around. Our 14 year old daughter was ogled and leered at with iffy comments all week and she was dressed in long leggings and a hoodie. Muslim women and girls do not get this awful treatment. Do not ask for directions as anyone who helps and there will be loads want paying. Secret Garden was great the Aqua Park likewise, food in the restaurants was very good and not pricey. If you could stop the Hassle and the motorbikes in the narrow souk lanes/roads it would be a great place, but I doubt this will ever happen. We enjoyed our week even with the negatives but will never return there. Shane

Absolutely love this place , the narrow streets, crowds, spices, food, smells ,colours and street performers. I went both day and night and both times truely amazing what an experience.Snake charmers and performing monkeys. Admittedly I did get lost at night by taking a wrong turn and ended up in some lonely back streets kept my cool and managed to navigate back to centre. At no time did I feel threatened.I decided to take the horse and cart to the Medina in daylight and got a taxi back to hotel at night. Not to be missed amaaaazing.

Its Maroc local night market. If you want to feel the real Maroc life, you can visit there. Its very old one so I can explain the road exactly but you can reach from everywhere. You can see many playing music and some fire shows and shows with monkey in the center hall. But near center hall, there are so many China fake shops so thats not good to see. The most valuable thing is small path. I can feel I can walk on the past Maroc. Its amazing. Good place for walk and shop.
