Worth a visit if you're passing by, but don't agree to go with a guide. I don't mind to pay 3€ for some historical context, but a quick Google search will make you just as much an expert on the place as they are. Aside from telling us what was filmed there, he didn't add any value and he got quite aggressive when I suggested they provide more information on future tours, including following me into my tour bus to further argue with me.

If you haven't seen any kashbas it will be a blast. If you have seen some come for the views and to walk around it's a nice stroll. The guides I don't know if they are worth it, I was reading the information that was around and felt really satisfied about what I read and I felt I got the info I needed. There's a bridge to cross the small river you have between the new town and the old town, also if you try to cross throughout the river you will have some kids asking for money.

I'm glad we got a tour by a guy who's family lived here until UNESCO made it a historic site. His love for his heritage was apparent. I enjoyed the artist painting with ancient dyes and setting the colors.

So beautiful place to visit in Morocco. It's very old and several movies were shot here included games of thrones and gladiators and many others... It's nice, historical and HOT. The restaurants around are really expensive and have really bad food.

Really helps you to understand the complexities of the Kasbah concept. Enough to explore and great views - lots of stairs. Vendors not pushy.
