Los Cabos Arch And Playa Del Amor Tour By Glass-Bottom Kayak

After minivan pickup from your Los Cabos hotel or cruise ship pier, head to Médano Beach with the iconic El Arco (The Arch) in view, also known as Land’s End, a series of jagged rocks soaring out of the waters where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet.
On the beach, receive a safety briefing from your expert guides. Learn basic paddling techniques, slip on a life jacket and pick up snorkeling gear. Then, hop aboard your glass-bottom kayak and paddle out to sea.
Follow your guides’ lead as you kayak around Land’s End, and capture close-up views of the rock formations. Note the pelicans and other sea birds flying above and peer through the kayak’s glass bottom to the crystal waters speckled with colorful fish. You might spot sea turtles, parrotfish and rays gliding around. Paddle next to to the outcrop where sea lions are sunning themselves.
Continue beyond The Arch and capture views of remote Playa del Amor, accessible only by water, its shore banked by dramatic walls of boulders. Learn from your guides about the local ecology and geology.
Just offshore are the sea-fan blanketed slopes of Pelican Rock. After help from a guide mooring your kayak, slip on your snorkeling gear and jump in. Delight in sighting angelfish, lobster, puffers, Mexican goat fish and more. Schools of rays and jacks also may pass within view.
After snorkeling, hop back into your kayak and paddle past Playa del Amor. Take a snack break and then return to Médano Beach by kayak and board your minivan back to your hotel or the cruise ship pier.
