After pickup from your hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya, head to port and board
a ferry to Cozumel. Enjoy the two-hour ride to the island that many consider
the jewel of the Yucatan.
Once there, meet your guide and climb into a comfortable Jeep for a rambling
tour of the island. Drive along the coast with the wind in your hair, see the
Mayan ruin known as the "Seashell Tomb" and Colombia Lagoon, home of the
yellow crocodile and more than 50 different bird species.
Visit Punta Sur and see the original lighthouse known as “Faro de Celarain."
Visit a white-sand beach and snorkel in the warm Caribbean water to get close-
up views of the colorful reefs below the surface.
