Coco Bongos is a good night and is something you're probably going to want to do in PDC but I personally don't think it fully lives up to the hype. We visited on a Saturday. Balcony seated areas on the Gold package are very cramped and there isn't a lot of space to dance. People with standing tickets seemed to be having more fun so you're basically paying to watch other people have a good time. Although anyone could go down to the main dance floor realistically there wasn't space. The range of drinks included in the package is limited. There is a roving camera that is projected to the main screen. After going round the room a couple of times at the beginning of the night, the camera operator focused on female audience members in a way that seemed outdated and it was obvious that some of those being filmed were not comfortable with it. Whilst some enjoyed performing, the operator should be more aware of who is and isn't comfortable with their image being projected onto a huge screen. Many of the shows are impressive, although not as polished as I'd expected. It isn't a four hour show - it's a series of performances with long gaps of music videos playing while audience members dance on a podium. It's a good spectacle overall and the use of audio visual is outstanding and engaging. The lip sync performances are fun and the aerial displays are impressive. It's a fun night but now it's ticked off the list, I wouldn't bother going back.

So much fun! We bought tickets online beforehand to skip the line (totally worth it) and had unlimited free drinks. I didn't expect it to be such a crazy production, but they do an awesome job of integrating song, dance, acrobatics with a night club vibe. Imagine dance music night club meets Cirque De Soleil. It was incredibly fun. Would recommend going on a Friday or Saturday night if you're in Playa Del Carmen.

We bought the gold package direct from website as this was safest option. Very well organised staff and we were inside within minutes. Drinks were plentiful and the show was great fun! It is expensive, but the experience and drinks are worth it! Security staff are fab and stop people from trying to get in the gold members bit - which keeps it spacious! Amazing air con system so kept it cool inside which was definitely needed!

I've just been for the second time, all I can say is wow what an amazing night. The atmosphere is electric. Big shout out to my favourite waiter Carlos who was fantastic. He kept the drinks coming all night and couldn't be any more attentive. I even managed to get a dance on the stage...twice! I highly recommend it

Ushered in like cattle. Passed unidentified liquor along the way. Right off the bat, the decibel level of the music is beyond excessive. Take ear plugs. Trust me! I attend many concerts so I am ok with some noise but this pushed well past the limits. The staff were pushy, necessarily as they had to support the performers in a sea of drunk “woo-girls” eager for tequila. My “open bar” limited me to a small selection of off-brand spirits (with exception of capt. Morgan who clearly sponsors) the bar staff are very direct in their demands for tips even though its an open bar. If you ask for change they’ll give you the biggest bills possible, forcing you to tip way beyond what you’d like. Take small bills! The performers were impressive and had true talent but it was robbed by the literal and figurative noise of the venue. THIS is where Vegas absolutely has you beat. Their guests are comfortable, sitting without pressure and meant to feel welcome from the start. Go to Vegas again. You can expand on what you have which is truly great talent and a decent brand. Clean it up. If you want to relive your 21st birthday, lose hearing, and pay way more than is necessary for an experience you’ll not enjoy, this is the place for you. I’m an easygoing person, and even I was totally miserable.
