B103 - Plaine Champagne Road, Mauritius
Incredible place to visit! The views are simply spectacular. Would definitely recommend that you pack a water bottle if you decide to hike. Also be weary of your steps as the ground may be slippery at some point if it has rained recently. If you’re not up for the hike (as it may be time consuming) try having a picnic as it is a stunning location.
An exceptional place in the island you wish you could spend more time at. Visiting the both viewing platforms is a must-do. The vistas are somewhat reminiscent of the islands of San Miguel or Madeira.
Beautiful park, with some long trails, but don't underestimate how slippery underfoot it is when wet. We set out with a forecast for sun but had rain the whole way up due to the height above sea level. Gets steep towards the end, but there are ropes to help you up the last 100m. I wouldn't attempt it without some good trainers or boots.
Beautiful scenery, tranquility and cheeky monkeys, a great place to walk observe nature and relax in peaceful surroundings. Be careful of the monkeys though as they will grab and run if they think they can take something especially food from you.
Nice track of about 4km up to the peak. Medium to easy access.
