I love hiking, so I went here, I reached out the turtles beach but I didn't went to the sanctuary. I wanted to took a bath on the sea but the water wasn't so clean so we just rested there and than come back. The path is not very difficult and the trail is well kept and signed. You can easily reach the place by bus from the town. It the same to go to the floating mosque.
Wonderful place for hiking. It would be great and safe if you have a local guide like Roslant
Staff of the Penang National Park. Take care of the rubbish! Turtle beach was great and very calm. Monkey beach was full with litter and garbage. I know it’s everyones responsibility to not litter, but the park should put more trash bins and higher fines to people who throw their garbage on the floor.
Good trekking experience! The path can get difficult so good trainers are a must. The canopy area and monkey beach was closed.
Excellent hiking place. Reasonably well maintained, with aiding ropes at steeper paths.
