Anne:If traveling down the coast, this is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots. At the end of the pier, this is a short order cafe. The shop across the alley is pretty cute too!

Anne:DTLA open air food court. You really can't go wrong here, but I do recommend Egg Slut (breakfast sandwiches) if you haven't had it to-date.

Anne:Inventive soul food, and a delicious option. I would not say you need to seek it out, but if around the area, it is apparently good!

Anne:Good rootop view on top of Hotel Erwin. Select seating so I would recommend a reservation if you want to sit. However, at sunset there are usually a few high tops. On the weekends, they have great frose!

Anne:If you find yourself in need of a cocktail the Ace as a great lounge & rooftop option... We also love their seeing shows here (although not as iconic as other LA locations).

Anne:Famous Flea Market that happens one Sunday every month. It is an experience if you are looking for any CA decore, furniture, etc.

Anne:We LOVE this museum. Similar to the other Getty property, it is free to the public but requires you to secure your ticket/time block in advance. Great to experience with visitors since its is right on the PCH.

Anne:We have to go to a DODGER GAME!!! Close enough to experience the Downtown locations, but also an experience in itself. If looking to go big, I highly recommend the Dugout Club seats!

Anne:Get the park hopper ticket, and prepare to be exhausted. Main Tip: Fast Pass only, AND Halloween/Christmas are the most lovely times of the year - with themed rides and select firework nights. However, avoid Spring Break time and summer at all costs!

Anne:Our favorite concert venue! Lots of good dining on this side of town too, if you want to make it a date night!

Anne:Best hike option (in my opinion) starts at the Hollywood Reservoir, passes the Hollywood sign and drops you off at Griffith Park.

Anne:Good hike, in a cute little cut through pocket of LA. Great to combine with driving up with any of the Malibu adventures.

Anne:An invite only club with mediocre dining, and really fun magic shows. Tucked away in Hollywood (close to Runyon Canyon). If you can find a way to get tickets, it is a unique experience.

Anne:SHRIMP/FISH TACOS!!!!!!!!! So good! Worth it when you are on the Poipu sign, but it is a walk up, so be ready to eat standing or in your car!

Anne:Amazing hikes - I would recommend tackling this on one of your Poipu days as it sits on the opposite side of the island as Princeville.

Anne:We took surf lessons at this spot on the Poipu side of the island and loved our instructor. Great yelp reviews and good for couples. Afterwards, we at up at the pool/bar of the Sheraton Poipu. Pina coladas & Mai Tais!!

Anne:If timing permits, this is a beautiful stretch of road, but definitely requires an entire day of your trip! Make sure you have gas.

Anne:When in Maui, this spot is a travel go-to. Far away from much of the island, so I would plan for dinner and a sunset. Great fish... and picture worthy desserts.
