For options to experience both modern and traditional sides of Japan outside of Tokyo, the cities of Yokohama and Kamakura may be the best. Our nationally- licensed and experienced English-speaking guides will help you efficiently spend a one-day walking tour of these areas.

Your guide will pick you up in the morning at your hotel, or anywhere else at your convenience, then take you to visit possible sites such as Minato Mirai, Yokohama's modern seaside city center; Sakeien Garden, in southern Yokohama but reminiscent of Kyoto; Kamakura Daibutsu, or the "Great Buddha of Kamakura"; or Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, Kamakura's most important Shinto shrine.
